Due to strategic growth opportunities, we are seeking an experienced Insolvency Supervisor and an experienced Insolvency Manager – each candidate should have both corporate and personal insolvency experience and will be based in our Lisburn office.

You will each be responsible for managing your own portfolio of cases comprising mainly of CVLs, Bankruptcies with some MVLs, and IVAs from inception through to closure.

Insolvency Manager

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Insolvency Practitioner with the preparation of documents, from initial advice through to the completion of the case;
  • Ensuing all cases are complaint in accordance with SIPs and current legislative frameworks;
  • Ensuring cases are progressed in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Managing and developing your own team of administrators;
  • Dealing with correspondence and telephone enquiries varying in complexity;
  • Undertaking statutory investigation work for submission of conduct reports;
  • Liaising with agents regarding asset realisation as required;
  • Maintaining IPS diaries
  • Maintaining records of chargeable time spent on case work;
  • Attending and assisting at meetings both in and out of the office when required;
  • Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Producing case statistics as and when required;
  • Identifying risk issues and drawing them to the attention of the Insolvency Practitioner

Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years insolvency experience;
  • Experience in handling CVLs is Desirable;
  • Working knowledge of Insolvency Legislation including but not withstanding The Insolvency (NI) Order and The Insolvency Act;
  • Confident in managing a challenging caseload to strict timescales and interacting in a small team;
  • Ability to build effective client relationships;
  • Excellent time management;
  • Attention to detail with good numeracy and excellent written skills;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Organised and professional;
  • Knowledge and experience of IPS case management software and Microsoft packages (Word, Excel).

Education & Qualifications:

  • A Levels or equivalent;
  • Degree (desirable but not essential);
  • CPI (desirable but not essential).

  • Maintaining records of chargeable time spent on case work;
  • Attending and assisting at meetings both in and out of the office when required;
